These CD´s come highly recommended by the Coconut Beach staff. James "Sunny Jim" White hails from the Cayman Islands where he recorded his original, colorful, story-telling songs. His scope of music runs from ballads to fun-loving, upbeat soca tunes. James White´s songs tell the story of life on a Caribbean Island. Until recently, if you ventured down to Grand Cayman, you could visit Sunny Jim at the Hyatt Regency, where he performed for over 10 years. However, those of us who are stateside are now lucky enough to have him in the U.S. (Florida to be exact), where he still plays his original music. He does tour, so you may even be lucky enough to have him play in your area! We really think you will enjoy his music!

I have known James and his Lovely wife Adela for the last 10 years. He is truly a wonderful person as well as a great and fun musician and a friend. From my first meeting with him in 1998 when he helped us unload our "stuff" at the Jersey Boyzs Party up on the deck at Ricks, didnt even know who he was at the time, to the time we drove James back from Richmond to Jersey so he could make a show in Philly. My best memory is James letting my son play the pans in Galveston. I regret though that I will no longer handle any music.
