The coins shown below are examples of various coins and mountings available. All coins come with a certificate of authenticity. If you are interested in owning one of these unique pieces, please e-mail our staff at cobs@coconutbeach.com with the following information:

-Denomination: 8, 4, 2, 1 or 1/2 Reale (silver); 8, 4, 2, 1 or 1/2 Escudo (gold).

-Any specific shipwreck or land find (non-shipwreck cobs are less expensive).

-Grades: Royal and Grades I through IV. Royals command a high premium, have great detail and were intended to be presentation pieces. Grade I is the next highest quality, and so on. Grades III & IV are also good as mounted pieces.

We will forward a photo of a coin/mounting along with its price within approximately 48 hours. All coins can be mounted in a hand-crafted 14kt or 18kt custom bezel (examples are shown below). The smaller cobs (1/2 and 1 Reale/Escudo) can be mounted as earrings, bracelets or rings. Custom mountings may take up to four weeks for delivery. Christmas orders for mounted cobs must be made before October 30th for a guaranteed holiday delivery. A 50% deposit is required on all custom mountings with the balance due upon completion.
